Ponds Flawless Radiance BB Cream High Tea Launch

Good Beauty Diaries had the privilege to attend the launch of Ponds Flawless Radiance BB Cream last week in Cape Town, and I must say that it was a wonderful and very girly experience. I entered into a room that was flooded with different shades of pink and tons of goodies to indulge in. Needless to say, my diet went right out the window for the day. It was totally worth it! Now if your not sure what a BB Cream is, go ahead and click here to quickly educate yourself.

The April issue of True Love Magazine was on our chair waiting for us :)

Lindt White & Dark Chocolate #BestofBothWorlds at my seat. YUM!

Macaroons, Scones and Chocolate Truffle oh my!

There was also a bottle of the new unreleased bottle of Ponds Flawless Radiance BB Cream at my place setting. This is what I was waiting for. Who doesn't love exclusive goodies?! You know I opened the bottle and tested it on my hand immediately. I don't play that coy "I don't like things" mess.

You will have to stay tuned for my review of the actual product on my face. In the meantime, check the pictures of world renowned make-up artist, Michel Ingoglia working his magic with Ponds BB Cream in chocolate.

Final product with a little blush and eyeliner was flawless!

The NEW POND’S BB Cream, for example, will provide you with instant colour coverage for a flawless finish and works day after to day to even your skin tone. It contains the same trusted GenActivTM formula found in the flawless radiance range, which is enriched with a powerful blend of Vitamin B3, Vitamin E, Allantoin and Super Optics. The antioxidant Vitamin E and skin soothing Allantoin plays a role in reducing the processes that can lead to pigmentation. It also protects your skin from damaging UV rays with an SPF of 30++, removing the need to apply addition sunblock.

The exact shade of the Chocolate BB Cream was developed on the basis of numerous studies carried out in South Africa. Following extensive testing, it was selected from a number of prototypes developed specifically for South Africa as the shade that was most suitable to the majority of darker skin tones.

It's proudly South African and available in May at selected stores in Chocolate and Beige.

Have your say! Will you be running out to try this product in May? Let us know in the comment section below.

It's A Beautiful Life!

So I use the "entry level" stuff like I did in skul and my skin loves it. Will go and test it out cuz Im getting tired of applying my 3 layers every morning. Tjo

    1. Hi Nothile,

The pigments blend into most south african skin tones. You can even mix the chocolate and beige together in order to suit colours in between. Give a try next month and be sure to wait for my review as well. Thanks for the comment!

    1. I think it's great and I have problematic skin, so it would be awesome for someone with normal skin!
