4 Frugal Beauty Tips That Use Coffee Grounds

There are a ton of beauty treatments on the market that include caffeine as a main ingredient. They work really well and they are also really expensive. What if I told you that you could get the benefits of those products for a 10th of the price? Make a cup of coffee and keep reading, but be sure to keep those used coffee grounds. You can thank me later!

You can just mix a little bit of used coffee grounds in with your usual liquid body cleanser to get some exfoliating action. You can also mix it with your favorite natural oil such as extra virgin olive oil. Scrub the mixture all over your body for touchably soft skin.

Coffee can provide anti-bacterial cleansing and constrict blood vessels to minimize puffiness and sagging skin.

Mix some coffee grounds with yogurt, honey or an egg white – or just your favorite moisturizer – and apply it to your face. Let it sit for about fifteen minutes, and then remove it with warm water.

Coffee can reduce redness on the face and leave you looking relaxed.

Just apply cooled, used coffee grounds around your eyes and sit back and relax for twenty minutes before washing them off.

You don't want to use decaf for this treatment. That caffeine will help the puffiness around the eyes.

The way to apply it is simple: mix a small amount of used caffeinated grounds with your moisturizer or some Vitamin E or olive oil  and rub the mixture on your skin in the areas where you have cellulite. At first, this may seem gross because the grounds will stick to your skin. But once the oil dries, they'll rub right off gently.
