Evenly Radiant also sounds exciting in that it’s scented with burnt brown sugar, karite butter and almond extract and I’m dying to try Sheer Twilight which boasts a sexy-sounding black orchid and juniper oil fragrance.
To celebrate the launch of the new range, LUX invited a selection of beauty editors and bloggers up to Jozi to a lavish little party at Le Chatelat, a beautiful manor-like guest house in Sandhurst.
Celebrity guests included Minnie Dlamini; Simba Mhere who acted as the MC (pictured below with LUX brand manager Phumi Bohlela), Bridget Masinga, Mbali Matyeshana and Zizo Beda.
Igniting the spark
As the new soap and shower gel’s advertising campaign’s revolves around ‘igniting a spark’, guests got to take in a guided chat with two celeb couples; Zuraida Jardine and Josh Lindberg and Melanie and Zwai Bala.
According to both couples, once you ignite that romantic spark, you need to work hard to keep it alive. This doesn’t have to mean making huge romantic gestures, you can do little things too and Zuraida used the example of how she loves it when her hubby runs her a bath.
Another spark-igniter, according to research carried out by LUX, is the confidence boost women get from having irresistibly touchable, beautifully fragranced skin. Good news for the soap brand as that’s exactly what their new Classic Collection range is promising.
Afterwards, guests got to help themselves to a decadent macaroon bar, filling up pretty little boxes with an array of flavours of their choice.
