•QUESTION•
What can I use to remove the yellow color on my nails that polish leaves?
•ANSWER•
A good wait to prevent yellowing nails is to always remove the nail polish from the nail weekly. If you already have yellow nails, try this remedy.
1. Mix 1 tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide mixed with 2 1/2 tablespoons of baking soda in a small plastic bowl.
2. Use a cotton swab to press some of the mixture firmly under the tip of each nail as well as over the top of the nail, covering all the nails on one hand.
3. Allow the mixture to remain in place for about three minutes before rinsing with warm water. Repeat with other hand.
4. Repeat this treatment every six to eight weeks.
